Oh how our lives have changed

It was not THAT long ago that our Saturday nights were spent at State Street Brats, Old Town Pub or the Draft House.

However, this Saturday night started with a frozen Simon's pizza, a bath for Sarah and an "Itsy Bitsy Spider" interpretive dance by Bill. Then after Sarah goes to bed Bill is looking forward to an online game of Corn Hole (aka Testicle Toss) and I can't wait for the new 48 Hours Mystery on TV.

Oh how our lives have changed.

Sarah did do most of the SUPERVISING though.

Yesterday Sarah went to the Cottage Grove parade. She saw Elvis, scored some tootsie rolls for her mom, ate some of her dad's hair gell and got tuckered out and slept like a champ. She did want to wish her dad a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY and enjoy a day of rest and nap often. You earned it.

Last week Sarah got a new friend and a new cousin.
Sarah's mom and dad's friends had a handsome little boy: Dane Scott Haviland
and
Sarah's Uncle Gregg and Aunt Lisa had a cute little guy join the Motelet family: Ajay William Motelet.

We all can't wait to play.

Even More Mixed Messages

As some of you know, Sarah's Uncle Mark and Aunt Angela are moving to Seattle. Today in the mail, Sarah got a pink "Baby Mariner" hat. So now, Sarah's Nana and Great Grandpa want her to cheer for the Cubs, her Mom and Dad watch the Brewers EVERY night and now her Uncle and Aunt want a little Mariner fan. Poor kid - can't figure out who she is supposed to cheer for............
